AGRI NEWS NET "LIVE" FEED

  • Heavy late-summer rains across the Western Canadian Prairies have slowed harvest and raised quality concerns for several crops, particularly oats, after earlier drought and heat stress.
  • Benfotiamine (B1), Alpha Lipoic Acid (ALA), and Niacin/Nicotinamide (B3) are commonly taken together to support better blood sugar control and insulin sensitivity, protect nerves (especially in diabetic neuropathy), boost energy production and mitochondrial function, and provide antioxidant and anti-aging benefits.
  • The International Grains Council revised global maize production higher in its October 15 report, now pegging 2026-27 output at 1.307 billion tonnes, up from 1.301 billion in September but still 3 percent lower than last year's 1.347 billion.
  • One of our top priorities is to provide a professional platform where people in farming and agriculture can share their perspectives and add value. We see so much potential in our women and youth.
